To strengthen our team we are urgently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated welding engineer.

You have been operating in the area of innovative welding technologies for a long time and are well aware of the strengths of the solution – together with us, you would like to provide our customers with these. You are very familiar with these technologies and know the welding applications and their instruments. You have a precise approach and quick comprehension and are willing to experiment. You are agile and are interested in a continuous development of your professional and personal skills.

Your qualifications and skills

• Successfully completed studies in the subject areas of civil engineering or mechanical engineering with further qualification as a certified International Welding Engineer
• Excellent professional experience in welding and material science as well as ultrasonic, intrusion and magnetic methods certificate level 1-2 (UT1, MT1, PT1, PT2)
• Securing of working and testing conditions according with EN ISO 17025 und ISO 9001
• Quick comprehension, analytical thinking and self-reliant work style
• High degree of quality awareness, reliability and personal initiative
• Outstanding communication skills and persistence
• Readiness to travel for plant and supplier visits as well as first article inspections
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English (level B1/B2)

Your tasks

• Welding verification and approval of design documents in the subject area of plant construction
• Further development of welding regulations in the area of product development of plant construction
• Qualification and implementation of new manufacturing methods and working materials in cooperation with production
• Support and consulting of product development regarding welding techniques and technologies as well as material science
• Organisation and implementation of supervising and recertification audits
• Person to contact on technology tests and work samples including production of welding guidelines and welding repair documents
